Breaking the Silence

Well, this has been a busy few months. I am writing this post from San Francisco (of all places). It is really nice out here – sun, ocean breezes and tomorrow hopefully some wineries. Sharon and I rode bikes across the Golden Gate bridge today but couldn’t see anything through the fog. We also went out to Alcatraz. Yesterday was walking around San Francisco and Silicon Valley in the afternoon (Sharon’s friend Holly works at Yahoo).

So, why haven’t I posted in so long? To keep it short, we went on a 2 week holiday in Nova Scotia (Cape Breton island is the best), Sharon and I got engaged, Sharon’s parents visited us in Toronto, we both quit our jobs in Toronto, packed up all of our stuff and moved to Seattle. I start work at Microsoft on Monday (about bloody time as well)!

So despite all the crazyness, hopefully I’ll be able to post more once things settle down. I also think it’s time to change this site design (again) to something more boring and mainstream – we’ll see what happens.
