Life in Seattle #1

The big news in town is that Seattle is going to the Superbowl. Who cares? I hear you say. Well, I probably wouldn’t if I didn’t live here, but for many Seattlites (is that what they’re called?) it’s a very big deal indeed.

It was great to have “the famous” Adam Magee visiting last week. Sharon and I managed to catch up with him a few times and it was great to hear news from the homeland. In fact, it made me extremely homesick for about 3 days but I got over it.

Seattle

Guess what? It’s raining in Seattle! Who would have thought? I dunno what’s worse – sunshine, snow and freezing temperatures in Toronto or bleak, rain and mild temperatures in Seattle. I think I’d take the Seattle weather any day! I’m not promising that I’ll be posting here more often but things are definitely settling down after the last few months.
