Without car

If you’re travelling from the city, it’s a pretty short taxi ride across the Harbour Bridge, say 20 minutes. You could also catch a ferry from Circular Quay to McMahon’s Point, but it’s a bit of a walk up Blues Point Rd, especially if you’re sporting high heels. Of course, there’s always the train. Convenient but… well, you know.

Say you were staying in Manly or somewhere on the lower north shore, your best bet is to catch a cab. That could take up to 40 minutes or so. Or how about doing it in style by taking a water taxi? There’s always the bus, not to mention the ferry. Problem is, the ferry would take you to Circular Quay, where you’d then need to get another ferry across to McMahon’s Point, or hop on a train.
