Where to stay

In terms of proximity to the Church and the reception, any of the hotels around Sydney Harbour would be fine.  This one is really close to the Church. Manly is also a good option, as is anywhere on the lower north shore, although hotels are a little harder to come by there.

Matt and I are actually staying in an apartment in Leichhardt in the week leading up to the wedding. We booked it on OzStayz.com; they’re pretty good if you’re looking for accommodation for a few nights or more. You could try Expedia (big disclaimer: I worked for them in the US). wotif.com is always a great source for last minute-ish hotels, as is needitnow.com. If you want something a little more funky, try TabletHotels.com. I’d love to stay at the Medusa in Darlinghurst. Very groovy.
